I initially proposed three visual directions, with the selected one based on a typographic interpretation of the name “FEDIM” placed within a colorful speech bubble, building on the previous motif of open mouths symbolizing voice, courage, and youth. The organizers appreciated the graphic playfulness and symbolic continuity, which aligned with the festival’s target audience.
The final system included posters, brochures, flyers, wristbands, rollups, banners, collectible stickers, diplomas, and digital assets. I also redesigned the diplomas for efficient pre-printing, allowing last-minute customization using placement stickers—solving an ongoing logistical issue. The identity received outstanding feedback from both participants and the audience, with many noting this was the best visual direction FEDIM ever had.
